This monographic diptych illustrates the richness of his artistic career: from animation to video installation, through scenography and video mapping.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\"><em>The Turbulent Infinite<\/em>, a title, albeit borrowed from Michaux, which is oh so evocative of the experience of Boris Labb\u00e9\u2019s work, resembles a little over ten years of the artist\u2019s experience and audiovisual experimentation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">By combining the employment of digital moving image techniques as well as those characteristic of animation, the films and installations on show make up an original and ebullient language. The video installation, rearranged, reworked, re-sounded, keeps only the first part of the original title: <em>The Lake<\/em>. The videos show the primordial elements (water, smoke, clouds, birds, forest, architecture, a factory\u2026) which are in permanent tension with each other. The landscapes, often of a great darkness, are at the same time hyper-realistic and hyper-artificial.
